3. After adding sodium polyphosphate, the decreasing trend of the strength of mold gypsum is much smaller than that of citric acid, but it is more obvious than that of borax.

4. In the case of the same amount of retarder, the influence on gypsum strength is as follows: borax < sodium polyphosphate < citric acid, which is in the same order as their influence on setting time.

In terms of the effect on gypsum strength, borax is the most suitable retarder for the three types of retarders; although sodium polyphosphate has a greater negative impact on gypsum strength than borax, it can also be used in a small amount.
