Extraction

The purified liquid is used as the raw material. The extractant is made of 50% tributyl phosphate (TBP) and kerosene. The prepared feed liquid and extractant are put into the extraction tank to extract scandium, after pickling and distilled water back-extraction scandium, a pure scandium-containing liquid (ScCl3 liquid) is obtained and then oxalic acid is used for precipitation, drying and burning to obtain pure Sc2O3 product . The main process is: scandium concentrate – acid dissolution – purification – TBP extraction scandium – acid washing – back extraction scandium – oxalic acid precipitation – drying – burning – packaging – storage (pure Sc2O3 product).

ion exchange method

Technological process: use tungsten waste residue (including Sc2O378g/t~377g/t) as raw material. It is dissolved with hydrochloric acid and filtered, the feed liquid is purified to remove impurities, and the ScCl3 clean liquid is obtained and used as the feed liquid for ion exchange after deployment. Prepare the adsorption column and the separation column for later use. The feed liquid (ScCl3 liquid) flows into the adsorption column from the upper end of the column to reach Sc3+ saturation for use. After connecting the adsorption column and the separation column in series, the eluent flows from the top of the adsorption column into and flows through the separation column, and when the last separation column flows out of the ScCl3 liquid stably, the ScCl3 liquid (pure ScCl3 liquid) can be continuously received. In the collection container, adjust the acidity and then use oxalic acid for precipitation, filter, dry and burn into pure Sc2O3 product.
