Template method
The template method is a method that uses the space restriction function of the template to control the pore structure and prepare a porous material with an orderly and relatively uniform structure.
Soft template method
The soft template method is the first method to prepare ordered mesoporous materials. Using supramolecular aggregates formed by copolymerization of amphiphilic surfactant segments as templates, the boron nitride precursors self-assemble through the interaction of non-covalent bond forces, and then pyrolyzed to obtain porous nitrogen-boron materials (Figure 1a).
Hard template
The hard template method is the most commonly used method for preparing ordered mesoporous boron nitride materials. Using the porous solid as a template, the boron nitride precursor is introduced into the pores by impregnation, boron nitride is synthesized by pyrolysis, and the hard template is removed to obtain a porous boron nitride material with corresponding pore structure (Figure 1b).
