Synthesis method of sodium laurate
Add coconut oil or palm oil to the saponification kettle and heat it directly with steam to melt. Add NaOH aqueous solution three more times and saponify at reflux temperature for about 6 hours to obtain crude soap. The salt water is added to the crude soap solution, and the impurities and by-product glycerin are separated out by standing to obtain soap gum. Then adjust the pH to about 8.5 with lye to obtain the finished product.
